Flowers
Lord Howe Island has an unusual mix of plants with
relatives from Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia. In addition more than
half of the 236 vascular plant species are found nowhere else in the
world. Summer is when most plants are
flowering, but each season has some plants in flower.
