Marine Life
Lord Howe is a marine paradise and its surrounding waters declared the Lord Howe island Marine
Park in 1999. Having the world's suthernmost coral reef life in these waters is enchanting. The
following images are but a glimpse of this marine world. Having the most southerly coral reef in the world, marine life here is diverse and abundant. There is a fascinating array of fish, snails, urchins, starfish, crabs and worms. The following images show a sample of this diversity.
