Nature Tours
Make the most of your time on this World Heritage Island by taking a fully guided tour of:
• remote rocky coves • seabird colonies • unique marine life
• enchanting rainforests • scenic vistas • rare bird habitats
On each tour we look in detail at all aspects of the natural history of Lord Howe Island – flora, fauna, geology, marine life, ecology and human systems.
The Nature Tour
A walking one from easy half day walks to all day - climbing Mt Gower (optional). Each day we walk to a different part of the Island, with swimming, snorkelling and reef walks as well. There are plenty of stops along the way to observe closely and learn about the history, flora, fauna, marine life and geology. There will be ample time and flexibility on the tour for individual and group interests.
Evening slide lectures add to you understanding of the Island. Specimens, reference books and microscope are on hand throughout the tour.

petrels are soaring around breeding colonies, Red-tailed Tropicbirds are
returning, performing their curious aerial acrobatics.
We also search out all of the landbirds
